Community Guidelines

Players are the heart of the World of Tittle. My mission is to create opportunities for us to come together, and craft unforgettable Adventures of Whimsy and Legend.

Guidelines

The World of Tittle is free from the struggles that burden our own. Discrimination doesn't exist - its people simply don't understand the concept. Everyone is accepted as they are, regardless of origin, appearance, beliefs, or love. Judgment is based on actions, not labels. Players are encouraged to explore with openness and respect. Tittle is a realm of adventure and wonder - an escape, not a battleground for real-world conflicts.

Code of Play

By playing in the World of Tittle, every player agrees to uphold the following principles:

  • Embrace Acceptance - Engage with the world and fellow players with openness and respect. Tittle is a place of adventure and wonder - an escape, not a space for real-world conflicts or discrimination.

  • Respect Player Representation - Accept how others choose to present their characters, identities, and stories. Every portrayal is valid and enriches the shared experience.

  • Honor Player Engagement - Recognize that each player engages in their own way and at their own pace. Respect their boundaries, playstyles, and level of participation.

  • Foster Collaborative Storytelling - Work together to create compelling narratives, ensuring all voices are heard and contribute meaningfully.

  • Uphold the Spirit of Play - Prioritize fun, fairness, and creativity, making the game an enjoyable and welcoming space for all.

Community Roles

The Tittle community is a collective of roleplaying and gaming enthusiasts, united by a shared love for storytelling and adventure.

  • Members - The heart of the community, shaping the world through participation and creativity.

  • Council of Change - A people's assembly with executive power over lore-defining decisions, ensuring the world evolves through collective input.

  • Tomens - Elected by players to represent the sentient books that govern the taverns. They track stories in The Chronicles, moderate social platforms, uphold guidelines, and identify potential lore conflicts. The Tomens are part of the Council of Change and they help maintain narrative coherence.

More information on each role's contributions to the community will be shared soon. Stay tuned!

Core Lore vs Open Lore

Core Lore defines the history, major world events, geography, magic systems, and foundational cultures of Tittle. It remains unchangeable and ensures the world maintains consistency. Core Lore will be updated by me.

Open Lore consists of individual adventures, stories, character expression, player-created settlements and organizations. Players have freedom within this space, as long as it does not contradict the Core Lore.

Examples of Core Lore:

  • The history of nations and cultural foundations of the world.

  • The existence, function and nature of world landmarks.

  • World, settlement and battle maps.

  • The structure and purpose of political systems.

  • The fundamental rules of magic, physics, and divine influence.

  • Official items, spells, objects, materials and artifacts.

  • Mythical figures and living individuals.

  • Any official game mechanics, expansions, or canon story arcs.

Examples of Open Lore:

  • Character backstories and personal journeys.

  • Player-created factions, settlements and organizations.

  • Local myths and stories.

  • Political struggles, interpersonal conflicts and character-driven plots.

  • Large-scale events (e.g., war, revolution, destruction of a major city)

  • Expanding unexplored locales, as long as they do not redefine world geography. Does not include creation of new regions.

  • Player-created items, spells, objects, materials and artifacts.

Tomens

The Chronicles is a repository of Open Lore that has been approved and incorporated into the Core Lore. It is maintained by the Tomens. The Tomens are a council of 13 sentient books that govern the Taverns of Tittle, key locations within the world. They archive stories, moderate discussions, and uphold lore consistency. When players are elected as Tomens, they take on the title Tomen + their assigned name, becoming part of the Council of Change and helping shape the world's evolving narrative.

These are the Tomens: Telltale, Sussell, Ateache, Glitzglow, Moremur, Gigglegoof, Flagjello, Socksalt, Moistmoss, Bibbleboop, Yoreyolk, Songsauce, Crystalcrust.
