The Forest Connects

Ages ago a cable-covered sphere fell through the sky, an event that gave the treekin T.E.C.H - Technical Experimental Cables and Hardware. Now, they blend nature with it - enhancing themselves and their homeland.

Appearance

Standing 4-10 feet tall with bark-like skin, with branches for hair and glowing enhancements, the treekin are like no other. They can have a plethora of upgrades they can receive - from a concealed weapon that hides beneath their barkskin to an emotional shield that protects against mental attacks, they have one mandatory upgrade - the "One Cable", which transmits and receives information shared across the Webnet. As all treekin are required to worship Domo as a God, some form of his symbols are required to be worn.

Society

The Dominion is a technotheocracy ruled by the Majordomos, elders and interpreters of Domo, the Great Cabled One - a mute, sentient sphere, that ages ago descended from the sky. Domo brought this thing called "technology" that revolutionized society. This discovery enabled the creation of many enchancements but the one most valuable - a network - the Webnet, which enables instant communication and resource sharing across the lands of the Dominion. The Dominion's people are often hesitant toward outsiders, forming tight-knit communities in their birthplaces.
