Appearance

The Winde people are easily recognized by their strikingly pale hair, which ranges from silver to near - white hues, and their rapidly growing nails, often shaped and adorned as personal statements of style. Their love for extravagant fashion sets them apart, with garments that blend intricate patterns, layered fabrics, and mechanical embellishments - often incorporating moving parts or glowing elements powered by hidden mechanisms. Though outsiders may see their fashion as impractical, to the Winde, it is an essential expression of identity, status, and artistry. Their fashion is a form of storytelling.

Governance is led by representatives from five schools of Windcraft, each vital to society's function. Wind Tracking forecasts wind conditions and maps currents, Wind Harvest collects and stores energy, Wind Trading manages commerce, Wind Calling manipulates wind through magic, and Folling specializes in seafaring, blending all crafts for naval navigation and safety. These schools form the foundation of Winde society, driving its economy, culture, and governance.

Windeshire is one of the three main cities and a key player in wind harvesting and tracking. The city’s practical approach and relentless pursuit of wind mastery are shared by its passionate residents. Notably, Windeshire is the birthplace of the Railwing, an innovative wind-powered transport system revolutionizing travel and trade across the world.

Windemere

Windemere

Windemere is a region where inhabitants excel in wind calling and any wind-related magic. Known for their revolutionary spells, they masterfully amplify, enhance, and manipulate the wind. The city is famous for its Wind Gardens, where visitors can walk through carefully designed pathways that capture and display the beauty of the wind.

Windefort

Windefort

Long ago, this region was part of the Wisdom Wise territories, Windefort was acquired in war. Ever considered a second-grade region, overshadowed by Windemere and Windeshire. However, significant efforts have been made to elevate Windefort to equal standing - such as the construction of Stormbreach, the powerful academy of Windcraft.

The capital and seat of government for the Winde, stands isolated without a surrounding city, against a tempestuous sea. Its spiraling, wobbly design moves with the wind, capturing it, ready for harvest.

Stormbreach

Stormbreach

A pristine academy dedicated to the study of all schools of Windcraft. Through practical and dedicated curriculum, every citizen is required to spend at least an year at this institute.

Galleyway

Galleyway

An artificial island serving as a shipyard and seafaring hub for the Winde. Known for its innovations in Folling, the unique school of seafaring, Galleyway is a vital cultural and maritime center, advancing windcraft techniques at sea.

Galefall & Vortex

Galefall & Vortex

The two overseas territories of the Winde, acquired before The Joinage. Both regions boast incredible natural wind potential, making them prime locations for wind harvesting. These territories are strategically significant due to their proximity to both the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Cycles.
